Doing Good Deeds

…Man can receive no greater gift than this, that he rejoice another’s heart.

Man’s merit lieth in service and virtue and not in the pageantry of wealth and riches.

The betterment of the world can be accomplished through pure and goodly deeds, through commendable and seemly conduct.

Strive with heart and soul to distinguish yourselves by your deeds.

Treat people in such a way and live amongst them in such a manner that if you die they will weep over you; alive they crave for your company.

A day once gone will never return. Therefore, one should be diligent each moment to do good. We reach the goal of the good life by pious works.

Regard man as a mine rich in gems is inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom.

The best way to worship God is to ease the distress of the times and to improve the condition of humanity. This is true religion; to cleanse oneself with pure thoughts, pure words and pure deeds.

Our actions reveal what we are, no matter what the tongue speaks.

The light of a good character surpasseth the light of the sun and the radiance thereof.

If you desire with all your heart, friendship with every race on earth, your thought, spiritual and positive, will spread; it will become the desire of others, growing stronger and stronger, until it reaches the minds of all men.
