Escape from your pressures

Evening Advertiser, Friday 9th June, 2001

People can discover an oasis of calm and well-being for body, mind and soul this weekend.

The Tranquillity Zone is run every fortnight and sessions will run over the weekend at the Health Hydro in Milton Road.

The project is an initiative of the Bahá'í group of Swindon, which has been running the Tranquillity Zone for the past three years.

Fidelma Meehan, Project Co-ordinator, said: "The Tranquillity Zone is a very special experience. The programme is held in a candlelit setting, surrounded by flowers and drapes. Within this setting, a voice reads inspiring and soothing words, followed by music.

"Guests can experience an extraordinary sense of well-being and inner peace and it’s a welcome escape from the pressures of life."

The Tranquillity Zone is presented every fortnight at the Health Hydro.
