Training for the Swindon
Youth Empowerment Project

Although the Tranquillity Zone and the Youth Empowerment Project are effective and exciting initiatives, they can only be sustained if there is a pool of dedicated volunteers available who are willing to conduct the sessions. Training programmes are offered to anyone who feels they would like to make a difference in the lives of young people. This training provides volunteers with the necessary knowledge, insights and skills required to facilitate successful Tranquillity Zones and Youth Empowerment sessions.

This training is available to anyone interested in becoming a facilitator to run programmes for the Swindon Youth Empowerment Project.

In the Training Zone, trainees learn how to relate to youth on the Empowerment Project and how to create an atmosphere of trust. Trainees will be involved in a very deep learning process about themselves as they learn how to place young people on a path towards empowerment. Training explores some powerful statements from various sources about the true nature of a human being.

Trainees are trained in how to make effective use of speaking, silence and music within the Tranquillity Zone and how to bring peace to agitated souls. They also learn how to skilfully lead young participants through a well-developed educational programme in the Discovery Zone.
