The Tranquillity Feast
is a community gathering open to all.
It has three parts and opens with an inspirational
start, similar to a Tranquillity Zone.
Music, readings and prayers are included
in the programme to help uplift the heart
and refresh the spirit.
The second
part of the Tranquillity Feast is where
a presentation is made. In the past guests
have included Phil Koomen (designer and
craftsman of high quality wood furniture),
Mina Fazel (Psychiatrist from Oxford), Chris
Grainger, an artist from Bradford-on-Avon,
and singer/songwriter Steve Day.
The final
part of the Tranquillity Feast is the social.
Bahá'ís are warmly encouraged
to offer hospitality to others. During
the social part of the Tranquillity Feast,
refreshments will be served and people get
together. Tranquillity Feasts are held about
once a month in the Square Café,
Theatre Square, Regent’s Street
