Residential Schools

During the year, the Swindon Bahá'í Community organises a number of residential schools. The most significant of these is the Swindon Community Winter School, which usually takes place in the last week of December.

The Winter School is an event for all the family, now held every year between Christmas and New Year. The School combines an educational programme with a series of recreational activities including visits and walks, a bonfire night, a quiz, musical evenings, and a large gathering similar to a Tranquillity Feast. There are programmes and activities for children and youth, and many of the events are family orientated so that everyone can take part together.

The Winter School is held at Legge House, Wroughton, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
