Children's Classes

The education of children is one of the most important activities of any Bahá'í community. In Swindon, the Bahá'ís organise classes for the spiritual education of children (not only Bahá'í children) at a local community centre in the town. These classes are held on a fortnightly basis. The classes focus on the acquisition of spiritual virtues such as truthfulness, kindness, courage and detachment.

The classes also encourage participation by the youth and children in arts initiatives, such as plays, public speaking, music and so on. Holy Day Celebrations often give an opportunity for these artistic endeavours to reach a wider audience.

At the same time as classes for children are running, Parenting Classes are running for the parents in an adjacent room.
